did you think it was weird that everyone in FFIX had weird fantasy character names and then garnet's real name is just Sarah
part of it is the weird way steam does dark souls regions, because they never really fixed how the network functioned after they got it from GFWL. there's mods for it but it feels like they just split up the comunity even more because now you have people using the mod, people not using it, & people in different regions. there could be thousands of people on that barely see 4 people in an area.

the futer. of gaming. is here.

Do you think people have just run out of steam when it comes to stuff involving pilgrims and magic
It felt like there was a potentially interesting story happening in the background that the movie wasn’t actually focusing on. It was sort of like someone read a book of spooky things ye olde New Englanders claimed witches did and made a movie out of an itemized list they compiled from it, without much actual story beyond “wouldn’t it suck if you were a ye olde New Englander and these things happened to you?”
Kind of made me think of like... an /r/NoSleep post or something written by a fairly young author who just learned a bunch of stuff about old witchy Americana and got so excited to use it in something that they forgot to include a story.
