Renée was no stranger to the supernatural world. She knew about werewolves and elementals and all the things that people thought only lived in stories. She knew about them, because she was a part of that world, because she had kept the secret of those things hidden from friends far longer than she cared to remember.
But, when her family up sticks and move back to Beacon Hills she finds that keeping those secrets aren't as easy as they once were. It isn't just that she's trying to remember how things had been when she was little, to reconcile that view of her childhood home with the one she returns to, it's also that she has a feeling her oldest friends have suddenly become embroiled in the supernatural world. The world that she had never wanted them to get lost in because she knows how dangerous it can be for supernaturals; werewolves included.
