I was tagged by the AWESOME lilinabe! :) It's where you answer 11 questions and then pose 11 more and tag people to answer your questions, if you haven't seen this on your dash a thousand times already. ;)
1. Do you believe in love at first sight? No. Certainly people can be attracted at first sight, but after being with the spousal person for almost 14 years...I knew pretty early on that he was my person for all times always, at least by six weeks into dating if not before, but I think...real love takes years to grow.
02. What did you want to be when you grew up? President. I read the Constitution when I was quite young (it was in the back of an old 70s dictionary that we had, along with summaries of all of Shakespeare's plays and a bunch of stuff about math and also housekeeping hints) and according to it all you needed was to have been born in the US and to be 35 years old. I was born in the US and I would be 35 one day. I read widely on social issues, I got a subscription to Newsweek when I was in fifth grade, I took every social studies class my high school offered, I took International Relations my first summer at Duke's TIP program. I had everything planned out, from state representative on up to governor and then president. But then I grew up, and I realized that I was a working class girl from a small rural Southern town with hardcore morals and ethics and beliefs that were very different from the beliefs of rich old white dudes, and I realized it wasn't going to happen.
On the other hand, I also wrote about wanting to be a writer when I grew up on three separate occasions in my second grade journal, and well - I like to think that I have achieved that one. :)
03. Do you have any pets? Four lovely wonderful beautiful cats, who I love very very very much. Oreo and Midnight are littermates that we adopted from a rescue group when they were about six months old. They're 11 years old. Nova came from a litter at my mother's house when she was a wee baby kitten, and she's 8 years old now. Luna was adopted from the local used bookstore when she was a kitten, and she's four years old now. They all get along quite well. :)
04. The Sims 1, The Sims 2 or The Sims 3? I played all three almost from their release date (I still remember driving out to get Sims 2 on the day it was released and squealing all the way home), and I'd have to say Sims 3, definitely. :) It's beautiful, it fits my storytelling style very well, and I was never as attached to any of my Sims 2 Sims as I am to Seth and Sarah and Lilith and Jason and Glitterface and everyone.
05. Do you like Anime/Manga? Not manga, which is not a reflection on it at all - my brain is just not wired to read comics. Which is amusing considering I spend so much time writing Sims stories, but they're different, with the full complete text between the pictures. I do like some anime - especially Ruroni Kenshin. I also like Utena, and the Paprika movie was pretty decent even if it was the ex-best friend who introduced me to it.
06. Where would you like to live? I like both of the places I've lived, my home town and my current city. I'd be fine with living in either of them.
07. Have you ever traveled? Not so much since I married, but growing up my mother and I would go on road trips all the time. I've been to 10 of the 50 states. My mother grew up in Oklahoma and her family still lives out there, and one time we went to visit them. It was just me and her, and on the way back we did whatever the hell we wanted to and went a different way than we usually did, through states we'd never been into before. We dipped down into a corner of Kansas just so we could say we'd been in Kansas. We went to St. Louis and went to the Arch and heard jazz on the riverside. We went to these random caverns in Missouri. We drove through Indiana and my mother kept threatening to marry me off to a farm boy. It was awesome. :)
08. Book or Movie? Both. Basically, for future references - my answer to most either/or questions is both. :) I love books and I love movies, and they both have a lot to offer as art forms and storytelling formats.
09. walking or driving? Haha, of course - both. :) I love driving, especially with a beautiful blue sky above and great music thumping on the radio. I also like walking and getting exercise and seeing things slow and close up and being outside. :)
10. favorite Movie? Very hard question to answer. I know the spousal person is especially fond of The Incredibles and The Very Long Engagement (he teared up at the end of that one - shh, don't let him know I noticed). For me...I like Amelie, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Fight Club, Django Unchained, The Dark Knight, Inglourious Basterds, The Others, The Hours, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Hot Fuzz, Lost in Translation, Baz Luhrmann's Romeo & Juliet, Napoleon Dynamite, Good Will Hunting, the LOTR movies, Idiocracy, Toy Story, and...lots of others.
11. favorite creature in the Sims? Hmmmm. Maybe fairy, actually - I like making hardcore fairies like Glitterface and Lustereye, with all tattoos and rocker outfits and stuff. :)
All right, I'm going to try to come up with 11 different questions this time, and I guess - only two people answered my previous set, so if I want more than that I might have to actually tag some people. If I don't tag you - please don't feel left out, and you are welcome to answer these questions anyway if you want to. :)
1.What, if anything, do you think is beyond the boundaries of the universe?
2. What is your personal definition of the concept of evil?
3. If you could eat anything ever right now, what would you eat?
4. Do you think that a supernatural being of the sort usually termed God in our culture exists, and if so what you do think this being is like? Also, if you use the word God to mean something other than a supernatural being, what does the word mean to you?
5. Have you ever eaten waffles? If so, what was the experience like?
6. If you had a spaceship, what would you name it?
7. What do you think is beautiful?
8. Do you think existence has meaning, and if so, what meaning does it have and what/who gives it meaning?

I’m okay. Glad that tomorrow is Friday. My job is okay for now, but I am not a 9-5 person. How are you?
Is Friday now wooo! *hugs* Jobs suck. I'm glad I found one that I can personally emotionally handle though, even if it is 8:30 to 5 Monday through Friday, lol. On vacation this week, which has been kind of ruined by having a bad cold all week.
I'm okay! Hoping I can get some work done on the next Moonfall update this weekend - I'd like to have it up before I go back to work Monday. We'll see.

Hope you feel better soon! If you like tea, this is an excuse to drink lots of it… ;-) Off work and horseback riding soon = good day ^^,
I do like tea! But the spousal person makes it for me, and he's at work, and I have no idea how to do anything in the kitchen on my own, except for make spaghettio's and get peanut butter cups out of their box. I am helpless and alone! ;)
