Favorite Toy: Quartz Cluster Slimeology: Relatives of rock and crystal slimes, Geode Slimes are abundant in all areas of the Far, Far Range, especially caves. However, their prevalence doesn't make them any less fascinating! The only way to obtain plorts from this breed of slime is to crack it open by smashing it against the ground, or against wall. But it doesn't end there - geode slimes have to have plorts formed inside their bodies after a process of formation of crystals that is only possible by feeding the slime. Geode slimes, unlike other regular slimes, can drop several plorts at a time, depending on how well-fed they are, but unfortunately the maximum amount of plorts does not increase if a geode slime becomes a largo. Rancher Risks: If not careful, geode slimes will spill lava or silica-rich liquid depending on their current phase. Interacting with those substances will harm the rancher and the slimes, agitating the latter. You can splash water on lava to get rid of it, although this trick won't work with silica. That's why it's better to always keep them well-fed so you won't accidentally hurt yourself. Plortonomics: Geode plorts are often used for jewelry, but are also told to soothe the mind and emotions. They used to be thought as rare, and were even called "plorts of fire" back when geode slimes were just discovered. They are believed to be able to control a person's evil thoughts and are often used as talismans for protection.

An idea, I guess?

What if Slime Rancher allowed adding fanmade gadgets from the Steam Workshop? Like it wouldn’t be anything too fancy like adding an entire game mechanics, but like adding custom fashion pods n decorations. It would be real awesome imo! Imagine having an post-apocalypse-themed ranch or something related to your favorite fandoms? I’d love to see my phosphor-saber largo wear Guzma’s sunglasses or make my slimes wear silly wigs for shits n giggles.

Monomi Park probably already thought of this idea, so maybe it might get implemented in the future? Who knows? I’d love to see it in-game. What about you guys?

I watched the first and half of the second seasons of My Hero Academia and I loved it! That’s why I decided to draw a crossover between Slime Rancher and BNHA(even though it might seem very weird)

I tried drawing Izuku in a Slime Rancher-ish art style but I think I went a bit overboard with the shading haha

And I drew him with some pink slimes because symbolism

i’ve been veeeeery excited for the 1.1.0 update and when i saw the teaser with saber tabbies i exploded with happiness! they’re just sooo adorable! i love how tabby’s stripes and ears and tail compliment with saber’s teeth and muzzle to make a maltese tiger-looking slime! i looooooooove em

Introducing Kumiho, Strange Diamond, and Umbrella Slimes! All of these 3 slimes can appear in the fanmade zone called The Travertine Springs - a peculiar place for all peculiar slimes.

The Kumiho Slime is one deceitful and insidious fellow. It is exclusive to the Travertine Springs and is quite rare there. But you’re lucky that it’s rare, because it is very dangerous.

When the Kumiho Slime will see you, it will quickly run off to a place where it can hide, so it’ll be able to disguise itself as one of slimes on your own ranch(it is that smart), the stand right before you. If taken back to the ranch, it’ll wait until you’ll leave the ranch so it’ll start devouring slimes anywhere it can get. When you return, this lil rascal will pretend to be in awe, trying to make you think that there was a Tarr outbreak while you were away. If you turn your back on the slime, it’ll quickly revert to its true form and then attack you, dealing tons of damage. It’ll leave once you’ve been knocked out.

The second slime is less “violent”. It’s the Strange Diamond Slime, that can appear anywhere on the Far, Far Range. It is very active and has high speed, so it’s quite hard to spot. It may look cute, but it is very brash and unruly, and will attempt to escape corrals by creating teleporters similar to those from Slime Science. It will also try to do some strange things, such as refuse to eat food even if it’s starving, attack slimes and ranchers and even fight against the Tarr! However, Strange Diamond largos are docile and do not harm slimes or ranchers on purpose.

Aaand the last slime is the Umbrella Slime! It is believed to be a Pink Slime that got infected by the “Umbrella Parasite” that thrives in the Travertine Springs. The Umbrella Slime acts very weird, as it constantly needs to eat food but its plorts are no longer valuable. In fact, the Umbrella Slime will eat literally anything, not just food! It can eat resources, slime toys, and even slimes themselves! Its umbrella-like growth on its top seems to have a mind of its own, but slime scientists are not quite sure.

That’s it! I’ll make more slimes in the future.
