I have finished painting the giant Enceladus for the tabletop game Mythic Battles Pantheon. It was a remarkably pleasant miniature to paint and I had fun doing the base.
Burried alive by Athena beneath Mt. Etna for aeons, Enceladus is finally treading the world again. Although, after spending such a long time being immersed in the raging volcano, the once proud giant has become the embodiment of a volcanic eruption and a walking force of nature.

Day 27: Table top games
Last year I discovered I love table top games. I had known they exist but I hadn't really been exposed or let in on the fun. My group of friends tended to play video games and watch movies and read and discuss comic books. I had always kind of looked down on table top games like D&D. But the thing is, I play fantasy football. I love RPG/JRPG games. Tabletop games are mostly the things I love from those things. I wish I had exposed myself to these things earlier. I wish I had given them a chance. I've been having a ball playing DC Deck Building and tonight I played Betrayal at the House on the Hill. It was super fun! These games have brought out a social side of me I don't usually show people. I should try to take in more kinds of entertainment.
M13 Tournament In 3 Minutes
Last Friday, the Bowtie Cat crew ventured over to Guardian Games to enter the Magic: The Gathering 2013 Core Set pre-release tournament. We shot some video, made some friends, and came out victorious! Well, at least one of us did. The rest of us failed miserably. Watch the hot, gaming action!
