Sae Itoshi isn’t on the Elite team for Space Garrison Three where he wanted to be: Karasu beat him to the role of co-pilot by a singular point.  Yet, he still finds himself faced with the opportunity to compete with his teammates in the Trials, the greatest explorer competition in the Universe.  Only the top teams are eligible, including the recently graduated Elite teams from all four Garrisons.  For Sae, it’s an opportunity to prove himself as worthy to the Garrison; and to learn more about Shidou Ryusei, the explosive ace pilot of 2433’s Elite team.  What Sae doesn’t realize is the limits he will be pushed to: when winning becomes more about making it out alive, and teamwork is more important than rivalries, he must leave his past goal behind in order to survive.  Let the Trials begin.
