Summary: Tabitha is going through the Riverdale comics and just can’t get over the obvious desire Jughead and Veronica had for one another throughout their years together, so she decides to get them together to ask if they were aware of it and if they still like each other.

“I wanted to hear both sides, see if I was right about you both pining after one another.” She defended her actions. “It wasn’t just you, you know. She was openly flirting with you constantly—I'm surprised you never noticed.”

“Flirted—” Jughead let out an exasperated laugh. “That’s because she’s Veronica, that’s just how she speaks. She’s naturally flirty with everyone. But she would never have been into me, that I know for sure.”

Tabitha frowned. “Oh, right, so… you asked her about it, then? You know for a fact?”

“Well… no—”

“So then you don’t know. Good thing she’s on her way over here so we can settle this once and for all,” Tabitha smiled. “I’ll start baking cookies.”
