Baby, I'm Ready to Go!

New guy alert !! This is Rollback!! :D

He’s part of the Coastaurs open species by @darkxwolf17! I'm usually neither here nor there abt taur characters but like, c'mon I couldn't pass these guys up lol. His design is based on the original Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point prior to its conversion into Top Thrill 2. Dragster is my overall third favorite coaster and one of the most sentimental to me, plus it had such a cool theme that lends itself very well to this guy :3

I don’t have a ton of personality mapped out yet, but here’s what I do have: He’s very fast (as the original ride hit 120 mph lol) and is also super competitive and loves to race. With that, he’s also good friends with Tarmac hehe. He can attach seats to his back so others can ride along and is also one of my tallest non WoF OCs, also only behind Tarmac :3 (See for yourself on my newly updated OC height chart lol) And also his theme song is Ready to Go by Republica bc that was Dragster's station music <3

Lmk what you guys think of him! I rlly love how the design came out haha. And again, check out Coastaurs on Toyhouse if u wanna make one of ur own! :D

THE ANTHEM!!

FULL LET'S GET BACK! STAGE PERFORMANCE !!!

In what might be one of my most ambitious single pieces I've ever done, Shep, PB, Rye and Pumpernickel take the stage performing their set, with cameos in the crowd from (left to right) Shadow [@delta19068], Shelley [@macaronichewtoyz], Rayne [@pacsbs] and Soap [@baskipps]!

HOOOLY SHIT THIS PIECE OH MY GOD LMAO. You've probably seen me mention, but this piece took me nearly 13 hours to make !! I don't know for sure, but it's definitely up there as one of the most time consuming single pieces I've ever made! I've had more time consuming projects that included a lot of different pieces (my Happy Place PMV for example), but again, this is up there for a solo piece

But all the time and effort was worth it because this is definitely one of my all time favorite pieces I've ever made!! It was, of course, heavily inspired by The Anthem by Good Charlotte which is one of the most Let's Get Back!-core songs I've ever heard lmao.

A big part of why I like it so much though (along with why it took me so long) is because I also tried more lineless art and shading with this one! I've done a little bit of both here and there in some of my recent pieces, but I REALLY went all out for this one lol. I LOVE how it turned out here!! All the shapes really pop and I'm super satisfied with how some of the shading and highlighting came out! It's not perfect by any means since I'm still learning it, but for a first real crack at it, I think it gets the job done!!

With this drawing being so ambitious, I wanted to make a speedpaint out of it! I was able to do that, but I learned that condensing nearly 13 hours of footage into a speedpaint is,, Not Easy lol. So it's 2-3 times as long as my usual s'paints and even then it can be kinda hard to watch (hence the flashing lights warning at the start haha). But if you wanna get an idea as to what my process looked like, you can take a look there!

I really hope you guys like this one as much as I do!! All of the support on my last few pieces has been amazing, so I really hope this one continues that trend! I'm really having fun with my art lately doing the lineless and shaded stuff, so I definitely want to do more of that! Just maybe not quite to this level again so soon lmao
