not at all!! Rui is pronounced like, rue-ei. it rhymes with Hui. It's kind of like Ray but you know how when you say "Hui" it's pronounced more like "Hu-ei" ? Rui is like that. Qi is pronounced like chi. So I guess Ruiqi is like, Rue-ei Chi?

but honestly tho i have a lot of friends who pronounce it as Rooey and i respond to that!
