Break It Up [Lavi/Hotaru]

  Working in the service industry was a thankless job, but for some reason, Lavi absolutely adored it. It was a fast paced environment, he got to meet a lot of people, and on top of it all, free food! In the short time that he’d worked in that little cafe, he’d gotten on the good side of just about all the workers, so he had no reason to pay for food anymore. They covered it all. It was amazing.

  Today was a usual day. A packed evening, with everything going just as smoothly as it would if there was only one table to cover. The male was almost out of things to do, until someone asked him to toss some trash out. No big deal, his tables were fine for the time being.

  He went into the back, grabbed the bags and headed out. The only problem was that once the redhead made it to the dumpster, he heard what sounded like a scuffle. Being the nosy person that he was, Lavi made his way over to where the sounds were coming. Lo and behold, there was a fight going on between a blonde and some other dark haired male.

  “Whoa whoa whoa,” He quickly stepped between the two, pressing them away from one another. “Get outta here, we’re not gonna have stuff like this going on. Otherwise I’m gonna have to get involved myself, I believe me, you don’t wanna have that happen.” He said that in direction to the dark haired male, assuming the blonde one would be able to easier to talk to. And so, he turned to the other male and began speaking.

  “You alright? What happened?”
