he he happy hallloween !! I don’t have much to offer but yesterday I drew two of my normal human ocs as HK bugs :]
They’re girlfriends !! And they adventure around together ! They both originate from a large settlement that I’m still developing as I’m trying to integrate their story into a HK setting…
Pepper is a very knowledgeable but lonely bug, typically forgotten by most. She has trouble interacting with others due to her forced isolation but has shown to be very kind, sweet and selfless. It is believed she writes and reads texts and collects foreign objects to inspect and inscribe. Her damaged chitin is described to be an “embarrassing accident” but many believe she is lying.
Tacti is a determined bug who was adopted into a prestigious family that she describes to be “cult-like”. The scaring on her chitin is from her aforementioned adoptive family as it is their mark. Due to her family’s forceful beliefs, she is more seen as a delinquent towards them as she commonly disagrees. She is quite cold towards those she does not know, but very different around Pepper.
The two go way back as they’ve known each other since childhood albeit their relationship was rocky due to Tacti’s family being abusive towards bugs they deem beneath them, so she was forced to be a bully type towards Pepper.
As they aged Tacti began to develop and regret her actions and eventually persuaded Pepper to come with her and explore the vast world they live in. Tacti promised Pepper that she would protect and care for her to make up for her behavior prior, Pepper being as she is already accepted the apology but Tacti still swore to her and was devoted. Eventually as they explored they grew closer; Tacti growing a crush on Pepper (or well it’s debated when this feeling began as she’s known to be flirtatious towards her). It is still unknown if they are in a official relationship, they have seen to be affectionate but many passerby’s cannot tell.
Also random fact; Tacti loves to decorate Pepper’s horns with flowers and other pretty foliage :3
