Hey what's that fic that's kind of based off the film The Butterfly Effect where Dan and Phil fall in love as preteens and only accidentally find each other much later in life when Dan's a drug addict and a total fuckup and Phil's in a loving committed relationship. I read it like two years ago and I haven't been able to find it since.

okay but i just wanna say that uniattraction isn't like "theyve been attracted to eachother for a very long time" it's like "im only able to be attracted to one person at a time" it's different from being monogamous because (most) people in committed relationships are still attracted, on some level, to other people. people that experience uniattraction literally only have the ability to be attracted to one person at a time.

ok but like that’s not a sexuality that’s a preference. being attracted to someone in a slightly unusual way isn’t a sexuality. like that’s cool if you experience attraction like that i really don’t care but the fact that someone needs to make an entirely separate word for it is what gets me y’know. and especially b/c someone out there is gonna make some argument for how if you experience attraction like that you can call urself queer which is what seems to happen w/ stuff like this
