High School Story || Jo and Charlie

Ask her any day of the week and she'll tell you that high school never freakin' ends.  It seems like she's been here for centuries (t's actually only been three years, give or take) and it's not exactly been hell on earth, but it hasn't been anything close to heaven either. She thinks it's somewhere in between the two, but either way it's not the most enjoyable thing she's ever been through - it's not even second best.

     It's tiring and boring (most of the time) and she only gets to eat in a span of half an hour or so and she just isn't fond of the place.

It isn't all bad, don't get her wrong, she likes lunch and she likes faking notes to get out of gym and she likes not being at home (it's too empty there), she likes her friends, and she especially likes her yoyo. Sadly, she doesn't have but a couple classes with her this semester, so instead she usually just meets up with her after school.

            Her last period of the day is chemistry, and she's out the door and at her locker before the first bell is even done ringing. It helps that her locker isn't but across from the classroom she's lastly in. She doesn't grab but two books, doesn't even get her bag before she's walking over to Jo's locker, much to her luck (that's sarcasm for ya) it's pretty much half across the school.

She's learned to live with the trip, it's better than the gym she fakes herself out of. And by the time she gets there she's a little bit angry at all the stairs in the damn place, but overall she's glad the day's over. "What's cookin', good lookin'?" Charlie asks casually, leaning against the locker next to Jo's.
