second eridian out of the trio, inspired by Tugtupite!

this is Salami! they are the local astronomy nerd who somehow was roped into their friend’s alien appreciation club. they’re the most careful and cautious of the three, but still dreams about traveling the galaxy and exploring planets with their best friends.

i imagine every day after Grace’s class they ask all sorts of questions about space travel and how it feels to be in space, so much so that Celeste and Marie have to drag them away to the club meeting spots after class

the final member of the trio, inspired by Autunite!

this is Marie, whom Grace named after famous chemist Marie Curie for his resemblance to radium. they’re very mellow, adding a nice balance to the more hyperactive members of the trio.

thanks to their parent being a member of the biodome team, Marie was able to find a way to break into the enclosure and bring Celeste and Salami with him, but unfortunately because of the bioluminescence in their carapace, the trio was caught!

anyway yay woohoo expect more art of the full trio soon :)))

i have ideas for a trio of eridians, so here is the first of the three, inspired by Blue Lace Agate!

this is Celeste, and despite her soft appearance she wants nothing more than to look sharp! (literally). she was ecstatic for grace to arrive on erid because prior to his arrival, her and her two friends had been theorizing about alien life beyond their home planet, and have a whole club about it!

i hc that the eridian equivalent of like cutting your hair is chipping bits of the carapace into different shapes, the most common for rebellious pebbles being horns, which we see celeste has!

will be drawing her friends next, and possibly her mother if i feel like it

landed on the name “Spooky Trio” because i believe that Grace named them after Spooky Mulder from the X-Files (ty @afold-creature for the idea!!) after he showed the three of them a couple episodes on his laptop
