When you inevitably get sick of dealing with, or even thinking of, all the dumbass Soundcloud rapper politics that come with the territory, it’s good to put on an artist that’s fully removed from all of that bs to help clear your mind. TADoubleDolla is just that,and the only thing really even connecting him to this scene is his childhood friendship with Xavier Wulf. Outside of that, he’s just a regular, dope, upcoming rapper that you’ll never see wearing clout goggles, or hear rapping over an emo guitar beat. This is just pure, quality Memphis rap with none of the extra strings attached.

“The Life of TA” by TADoubleDolla

Unlike a lot of rappers that are popular on the internet, TADoubleDolla doesn’t need to project any type of image in order to appeal to a greater fan base. It’s that authenticity and organic aesthetic that makes TA a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of the try-hards that have infiltrated even the highest tier of underground rappers. While a lot of the most popular Soundcloud-based artists may appear cringe worthy to those unfamiliar with the scene, TA is far more palatable to the mainstream hip-hop palette.
