It wasn’t a crime to fall in love with your best friend right? There was nothing wrong for feeling a certain way towards your best friend? Thats what you always thought, you never wanted to fall in love, but how could you not. Taeyong was the definition of boyfriend material. He was caring, he was nice, he had a great personalty, he was always there when you needed him the most. You never knew he made you feel this way until a few weeks ago, when he caught you before falling. With his hands around your hips, and his face so close to yours. You realized how fast our heart was beating, how your cheeks began to heat up, and how handsome he was so up close.
You just didn’t know what to do with what you felt. Some of your friends told you to tell him, but you didn’t have the confidence to say anything. Some of Taeyongs friends even told you that you should confess.
But what would you do if he reject you?
Y/N POV
I was on my way to the cafe to have some me time. It was good to finally be able to think without people having to bug me about my “problem” with Taeyong. I didn’t really want to make it a big deal, but all of my friends would just tell me to confess to him, but I don’t know what he would say.
“Y/n!!” I heard from behind me. I turned around to be engulfed by a hug, I knew this familiar scent
“Taeyong” I said melting into his embrace. I wish I could do this with him all the time, but not as friends.
Maybe something more?
“Where are you going?” He said letting go and giving me a big smile
“Just heading to the cafe.” I said returning a smile
“Are you all alone?” He asked
I looked down a little and then nodded
“Mind if I join you?” He said patting my head
“Sure, why not?” I said feeling my cheeks begin to heat up as we walked to the cafe together.
When we arrived at the cafe Taeyong opened the door for me.
What a Gentleman.
We ordered our drinks and sat down.I looked out the window, and then back to Taeyong. I examined him for a moment, until he looked at me. I quickly looked away making sure he didn’t see my face burning red.
“Its a nice day today, huh?” He said cutting the silence
“Yeah it is, its beautiful isn’t it?” I said looking at him as I smiled
“Yeah, just like you.” He said, I laughed a little, panicking a little.
We finished our drinks, and headed out. It was already getting a little late, I looked at my watch 8:30 pm.
“Wow we were in there for 4 hours” I said laughing
“I guess time flies when your having fun.”He said smiling at me.
We began to walk down the street. I thought this would be a good time to tell him how I felt. I stopped walking, and so did he.
“Taeyong I need to tell you something.”
Taeyong POV
I stopped walking to face y/n.
“Yeah whats up?” I said as I looked at them, my facial expression changed. It was like whatever was going to happen next I needed to take serious. But Y/n didn’t talk, it was like she/he was hesitating to say anything.
“Is there something wrong?” I said getting closer to them
“I’m sorry.” Is all they said before I engulfed them into a hug
“What do you mean? You didn’t do anything bad.” I said grabbing their hand
“I fell in love, thats why I’m sorry.” They said, at this point I was confused
“You don’t need to be -
“With you, I fell in love with you.” They said taking me by surprise. I never really thought of y/n anything else than a friend, but something inside me felt a little bit different. Now looking at them under the moonlight, it highlighted all of the amazing features, they hid. I felt my heart begin to race, but it wasn’t love
“I’m sorry y/n” I said, putting their head down and began to walk the other direction. But before they could leave my body reacted and grabbed onto their wrist.
“But I can learn to love, learn to love…Someone like you.”
[01.27 pm] boyfriend!Taeyong wants to go on a date with you. He picks you up at 01.00 pm. When you go on a date with him the first thing to do is going to a cafe and eat sweets. Why? Just simply because he loves sweets so much and now he is sitting next to you eating choco lava with chocolate milkshake.

“I think.” Yuta said, sitting comfortably in his chair while Y/n perched on the edge of his desk, absentmindedly twirling a pen between her fingers.
“Well... you think, exactly,” Y/n said with a small smile. Yuta nodded before continuing.
“Yeah, I say ‘I think’ because I didn’t want to jump to conclusions, you know?” he explained, shuffling some papers around while typing away on his laptop. Y/n stayed quiet for a moment, lost in thought, before speaking again. “You’re right… no point in rushing to conclusions. Maybe it was just a misunderstanding. Ash is super professional, after all—a really solid person.”
Yuta gave a short nod, exhaling in agreement. “Yeah, but still... better to keep an eye out. I’m usually not wrong about what I hear,” he said with a casual shrug. Y/n slid off the edge of the desk and settled into the chair across from him, now sitting face-to-face.
“It’s rare for anything like that to happen, you know...Her boycoting the shoot. I’ve worked with her before, and she did great. And Jaehyun, well...” Y/n trailed off, only for Yuta to cut in without even looking up from his screen.
“Face card,” he muttered flatly, making Y/n nod as she stood up.
“Ok, we chatted enough so, with your permission, Mr. Nakamoto... I’ll go get the camera lenses ready for the next shoot,” she said, playfully mimicking an overly formal tone, raising an eyebrow for effect. Finally, Yuta smiled and looked her way. “Permission granted, soldier. Proceed with your duties.”
“Sir, yes sir!” Y/n responded, giving him a mock salute before heading to the door, laughing quietly to herself. But as soon as she opened the door, she froze, coming face-to-face with Jaehyun. He let out a quiet huff, barely acknowledging her, and walked past without a word.
The nerve.
