Emotional Support Mermaids for Mermay ⚔️🧜‍♀️

A companion set of mermaids for the adventuring party: these are the party's emotional support NPCs. Featuring our Very Normal Cleric as an oar fish, which is totally a Very Normal Ocean Fish. (It is not.)

Character credits are in ALT text, but they're essentially all GM characters save for Elius (#2) who is mine (but on loan to the GM).

I turned my adventuring party into mermaids for Mermay, because why not? I feel like I did a pretty good job picking thematic fish for everyone's tails (without overthinking it to death). Working with a brush pen for the line art was tons of fun~~

December Babies 🍰🌲🎁

A collection of my ocs that are born in December. I tried not to get too Christmas-y with it, and went with a pine tree theming for the month instead. I've wanted to do oc birthday illustrations for awhile, so hopefully I can keep the series going.❤️

Attack Four of Art Fight 2024. I bullied my sisters @wokefromdreaming and @maybeinthefuture into finishing their designs for our Tokyo Mew Mew team so I could draw them this year. u-u This one is Mew Mew Kindergarten themed. I don't usually draw so many characters together, but somehow I managed (I deserve a gold star u-u). [You can find my Art Fight profile here!]

Last Attack of Art Fight 2024! I submitted this with 25 minutes left till the event closed; it was harrowing.

This is the result of a last-minute "OCs with the same name" form I did; I'm very grateful to everyone in the discord that submitted their OCs with such a short turn-around time. u-u I've done a little touch up (glow effects, Rim's jaw) now that I'm not on deadline.

OCs are: Opal (FoxShadeZ on AF) & Oriurim Opal (mine); Nova (mine) & Nova (AstroShark85 on AF); Viktor ("@maybeinthefuture) & Victor (mine); Alice, Essence of Sky Blue (mine) & Blue (sombercantilusnet on AF); Aislynn (also FoxShaeZ) & Aisling (mine).

Virtaul Singer Kanna [OC AU]

I redesigned my OC Kanna as if she were a Virtual Singer/Vocaloid in Project Sekai. I love how the different Miku's have designs that reflect the Sekai that they're from, but also different aspects of the way Miku had been characterized over the years. I tried to work in that same element, using different facets of Kanna's growth over her storyline & the aspects of her character to craft variations of her for each Sekai. I even included some fake lore for her Pre-Project Sekai origins as a Vocaloid; the release date & series number refer her creation date as an OC & her order in my OC list.

The different forms are meant to answer different questions: What does Kanna project as an idol? Who is Kanna to her classmates? Who will she be when she grows up a little? What whimsy does she still carry from childhood? What are her deepest insecurities? The Kanna's at the bottom represent who she is as a completed character, reflecting her current canon design in Virtual Singer style.

It was a lot of fun remixing her core design elements and parceling out her personality into separate Kanna's. This was a very involved labor of love (for Kanna & ProSeka) so I'm not 100% if I'll do this to more OCs but I think it might be fun. Just gotta find an OC I love as much inside and out as I love Kanna.

A Little Science Experiment

I made an updated version of a Deviant Art meme that I really like, mostly so I could make it even more DNA themed/catered to my approach towards it. Little Rilian here is a combination of the four player characters in the campaign I’m currently in.

What do you get when you put a fighter, a haunted oracle, a haunted oracle, and a medium in a blender? Rilian: the most haunted child on the planet. At least they’re happy about it.

Ume Kuromori/Mew Blackberri

Another OC bust. I’ve drawn Ume’s mew form a few times, but mostly in sketches or art that didn’t turn out quite right. I’m really happy to have a nice reference image of her original Mew Mew costume (as opposed to her Mew Mew New version of her costume).
