Just saw someone make the claim that gender can't be a bimodal distribution because "bimodal distributions need a continuous x axis" and my inner stats teacher is screaming. Please for the love of GOD can people stop using technical words they clearly don't understand to justify bigotry????

That’s not even a hard one to find out via google, literally the top paragraph of the Wikipedia page on bimodal distribution says it applies to categorical and continuous variables.

I can no longer RB my own medical pics post since the people in it blocked me... and I’m still getting challenged on it. Apparently the date format is wrong and Australians never get their medical records.

1) Ask the hospital’s cardiology wing why they bought their equipment from the US, IDK.

2) My endometriosis specialist and cardiologist are both from the private system hence I get copies (Hollywood Hospital - in Subiaco - handles most of my shit and they’re completely non-public).

Yes... I’m the one who hasn’t got a good sense of what’s actually reasonable or not. Spreading unfounded rumours that a disabled lesbian on the internet is secretly a creepy nasty trans woman is totally reasonable.

I didn’t ‘evade’ lol I just didn’t think it was important enough to reply. The fact that some diseases are more common in people with two X chromosomes is not inconsistent with the idea that womanhood is a social construct.

As for, “IF you have such terrible uterine and ovarian issues” bitch I’ve just posted photos of my organs with black bits on them circled in pen by the doctor, what more proof could I possibly give you??

As for the rest:

why aren’t you frustrated that men can come in and claim they know more about being a woman and women’s issues than you? Aren’t you frustrated that Gary from next door can give you unsolicited (incorrect) advice and when you tell him (rightfully) to piss off, he says he’s more of a woman than you?

I have been given all kinds of unsolicited, incorrect advice about my endometriosis - from cis women. Ultrasound technicians, random ladies in shopping centers, every single friend my mum has, so on and so forth - I’ve had suggestions ranging from “see a therapist and just get over it” and “you should do yoga” to “have a baby”.


I think it’s highly unlikely that I should be angry at all trans woman for our hypothetical trans woman’s actions, when it would be statistically bizarre for there not to be any trans women who are dickheads to disabled women, since literally fucking everybody are dickheads to disabled women. Some people in this past thread included.
