I don't filter by media often enough to have an impact but some people need to stop tagging both IDW 2005 and IDW 2019 when they aren't using 2019 at all. It is a different continuity with different things going on, your tagging is inaccurate and confusing

twitter and tumblr both suck at muting words and blocking accounts! why can i still see thunderfire accounts, thunderfire fanart, thunderfire discourse threads, and thunderfire?! i do not want to see that pairing at all when i go to the skyfire tag in both sites!

Super genuine question to those who engage in shipping / romance side of the fandom (clueless ace here for big robots and friendships):
How would you like people to tag the ships when reblogging? So much discourse lately about top/bottom and correctly ordering the names in the tags?
But if I don't ship and dont know anything about shipping culture and am reblogging fun art (sfw) where the charcters are implied to be in a relationship, I want to tag so people can block the tags, but then I see people are upset when people tag both variants of a ships tag?
Like I don't have a prefference for or even understand how top/bottom changes a ship but using one tag over the other implies my prefferences for one dynamic somehow??
There doesnt seem to be any clear concensus and its a struggle, and im not surpised that theres so much untagged romance ..
