I don't like ThunderFire because it's generic boringslop (to me) and I don't like SkyStar because I think those two are better off as friends post-war. Unfortunately, most shipping content I see of Skyfire in the tags lately are those two pairings. Now that I think about it, I do not like Skyfire being paired with Seekers period. Has the fandom considered shipping him with a grounder? I guess Sky-Byte counts as a non-flying Cybertronian but I still haven't watched Cyberverse to see the appeal of Skyfire x Sky-Byte yet.

twitter and tumblr both suck at muting words and blocking accounts! why can i still see thunderfire accounts, thunderfire fanart, thunderfire discourse threads, and thunderfire?! i do not want to see that pairing at all when i go to the skyfire tag in both sites!

Sorry but your ship is fanon as fuck. You don't get to be pissy at people who prefer Skyfire getting shipped with someone nicer than that certified failed green tea bitch.

some seeker related stuff:

-i think trines are one of the best fanon stuff to come out of the community. fanon stuff seems to have people split but ive yet to see anyone who outright hates the trine stuff. its a fun concept and builds better character dynamics, and it can be platonic or romantic or familial!

-i wish skywarp would be in more official stuff. all of the elite trine have a lot of fans in the fandom and a bunch of content (obviously starscream more than the other two) but in terms of canon stuff , not so much, TC has been prominent in a few things , mostly idw and now skybound (kinda cyberverse). skywarp's only recent appearance that puts him at kinda the forefront is earthspark (ig it would be puts her in that case) and that doesnt exactly build a bunch of characterization. i hope skybound explores him more

-for the people annoyed about thunderfire, and stuff like saying thundercracker is the redeemed starscream - theyre two entirely different people chat.

I don't care for thunderfire. To me it just feels like a ship that still manages to center Starscream. Don't get me wrong, I love Starscream, but I don't love "his exes/ex and estranged brother bond over being hurt by him and are eternally defined by their former proximity to him"

TC and Skyf are both such interesting characters (or well they have the potential to be), it's a shame to focus everything about them- including their relationship to one another- on Starscream
