I'm back in The Building aka the demon hunters AU + meme redraws
It mainly focused on the MA characters, then it became this sandbox AU where I'd go "Wouldn't it be funny/sad if x and y happened?" brought to you by my 2 last braincells and borrowing 100 things from my other favorite media.
Context below (wall of text warning):
There are demons and hunters. Sometimes you're both if unlucky.
Oersted was a hunter employed by an 'agency/organization' until he became half-demon.
Strei is an assistant researcher in the same 'agency'.
This 'agency' investigates demon related incidents, phenomena. Sometimes it hires hunters to capture or exterminate.
Things happen and they break up (friendship ended) (lives were destroyed)
Alethea is a lounge singer and secretly part-machine. That's all I reveal for now. (it would a wall of text 2)
Hygro is a freelance hunter. she's here to be the boke to the tsukkomi of the trio. also she is pink+futch. #my oc now
Oersted and Hygro are half-demon companions. Strei would be too but he prefers keeping his job in the agency.
Akira, Lei, Oboro and Cube are a group of unlicensed hunters helping around the city, in a "monster of the week" format.
4 DPS, or 3 DPS + 1 healers, or 2 DPS + 2 healers, depending.
Akira looks like that cause I wanted to draw 80's anime hair. He has his psychic abilities, and could read demons' minds to unmask them, but they'll sense him so it's risky.
Lei would punch and shatter ghosts like boulders whereas most hunters would rely on magic or tools.
Oboro is from a clan of hunters, still in training. I think he's the most experienced of the quartet.
Cube is not affected by demons' tempering but everyone protects them. everyone's morale goes up in their presence.
Sundown is a wanted man (insert his game backstory). not a hunter, but he had experience fending off the creatures in his town back then.
Mad Dog is a private eye. maybe he could have a different name but idk lol
People often think Sundown is the detective based on his fit, and MD his sidekick, which is funny to me. anyway I think about them going on missions together. just need to get better at drawing them...
Everyone meets each other. Problem is, most of the interactions happen in my head--no fic. no comic. I'll redraw memes though
In short: there are demons and hunters and sometimes the characters are stuck, be it in a place, timeloop, job, role, but they have each other, etc
