bg3 verse for lex ambrosi
♡. lex.v06 ( bg3 ) ⁄ ⁄ child of the stars .
species: half - elf ( star ) class: fighter ( arcane archer ) level: can be found as early as lv2. last level to pick him up is lv6. location one: goblin camp, next to halsin.
after being saved by the tav or by halsin himself if tav ignores the camp entirely, the way he joins the party is rather simple and yet terribly complicated. because he has not had much in the way of outside interactions with the world, he has found himself trying to make peace with the people who have hurt and belittled him. this will confuse halsin ( as he is a young boy ), and will endanger him around minthara ( as she is a drow elf, & he's a mithral/star elf ). if you decide to be patient with him, and let him talk rather than forcing him to, by the time you take five total long rests, he will ask to travel with you ( when you speak with him before leaving or before confirming the sixth rest ). naturally, his constitution and dexterity will be at least 14 on both stats. his lowest stat will be charisma at only ten. none of his stats are below ten, and his strength is his highest.
notes:
while you can make the choice to have him be similar to scratch and have him stay at camp as an npc if you deny his request to travel enough times after that first time, adding him to the party will grant the party a constant utility arcanist.
( bc i'm biased ) gale, even if he tries to resist it as lex gives off puppy and not kitten energy, will eventually be found trying to speak to lex about magic, and lex will be speaking back with equal understanding, making gale semi adopt him.
a successful insight check on gale will reveal the narration of "It seems to have been a long time since he's been able to speak to someone about his ideas and have them actually help."
if you are a wizard, and you talk to them both at that scene, you will get the dialogue option of "The energy output for that would be too immense to contain, you'd need to channel it into something."
if you are a sorcerer, and you talk to them both at that scene, you will get the dialogue option of "I'm not completely following, but I think I can offer some aid."
if you are a bard, and you talk to them both at that scene, you will get the dialogue option of "The ballads of the best heroes are always the ones who dare to try. So, dare."
