This article is an interview with Maha Daka, the Director of Employment of Taibeh, about the issues holding back Palestinian women from integrating better in Israeli society. In this piece, she talks about discrimination, traditional gender roles, and violence being the primary issues facing Israeli-Arab women. Arab women and Jewish Haredi men are the two most underrepresented groups in Israel’s economy; causing themselves and their families to potentially be left behind as the country progresses.
