I think the world needs more symbiotic/parasitic tails stuff
like those kitsune fox tails. Finding a nice fluffy white thing near an old shrine and you go to touch it, hisses at you and jump at you, wrapping around you and attaching it self right to your spine, above your butt. Lots of weird sensation as it connects, and after a while you get up and find yourself with a decent sized white tail, with a mind of its own.
And imagine the prolonged consequences... Hair turning white and long for starters. Perhaps a growing figure, a very growing figure as none of your old clothes can contain your growing chest, which you massage on the daily because the growth is too sensitive, it just needs a little stimulation to calm it down. Frankly your whole changing body needs attention, you just need an outfit that's easy to take off...one you find in the old shrine, that seems to fit you nicely.
You tried to go back to your old life, but it's hard to hide a tail, and even harder your more heavenly body. But something calls you to the shrine, to go there and restore it. To stay there, and be it's caretaker.
A reason you learned quickly why, dozens of the same white fluffy tail things lived below, calling for its new caretaker, calling for people to come and became like you.
Like you it says, your ears twitch, twitch? Big fox ears twitch upon hearing them, even when they do not speak, it's like you can hear them in your head. Your tails move wildly, wait tails? You should only have one, but find a boutique of them on you, practically the size of your body and fluffy beyond belief. Quite sensitive too, something that needs to be fluffed.
But it can't be helped, you got the body of a kitsune, might as well embrace it. Visitors come all around to see this majestic fox person, with their fluffy tails that seems to move on their own. Though, ever since you've put flyers up for more help, seems more and more kitsune have been spawning, you wouldn't happen to be responsible right? Giving all your new workers fox tails? Big fluffy fox tails to fluff?
