Hi Mrs judge lady! What happens when you give a creature first strike after first strike damage has occurred?

 Nothing, really.

In the second combat damage step, damage is assigned and dealt by creatures with double strike and by creatures that didn’t assign or deal their combat damage in the first combat damage step. A creature that gains first strike after the first combat damage step still falls into that second category and will deal its combat damage at the same time as creatures without first strike.

Was trying to find an answer for this but couldnt see in any rules, what allowances do they give people with disabilities or health issues at tournaments? IE diabetics needing to quickly get something to eat/drink or someone with IBS/IBD needing to go to the toilet at a moments notice?

This is absolutely fine. Just discuss your situation with the head judge before the event starts so that they can inform the judge staff about what accommodations you’ll be receiving, and always call a judge when you need to leave your table.

hi, I am new to legacy and want to ask about Lions Eye Diamond. In order to cast something like say Infernal Tutor, can I announce casting it THEN use LED to pay for it? Floating 1 and discarding my hand. Or must I crack LED prior to announcing I am casting IT?

You can’t use Lion’s Eye Diamond to cast a spell in your hand. Once you’ve activated LED, you no longer have any cards in hand.Its mana ability can’t be activated when you’re casting a spell or paying any other cost. You have to activate it at other times you have priority.

The typical way that LED is used in Legacy decks is as follows: First you cast Infernal Tutor with other mana, then, holding priority, you activate LED for mana and discard your hand. When Infernal Tutor resolves, you now have no cards in hand and can search for any card you want, and you’ll have the LED mana to cast that card.

Flashbacking archive trap when they search their library? am I able to pay 0 still?

No.

You’re paying the flashback cost, which is 3UU. You can’t pay two different alternate costs, and since you can’t cast the spell without flashback, you can only use that cost to cast it.
