Proud to announce that Mora, owned by DrReinbotnik, will be playable in Tainted Creations! Alongside the already-revealed Plague Ratnic, Mora will be responsible for clearing the infection from the dissolving EXEverse.

Update: Writing Process

I don't think I ever spoke about the stories I'm currently writing. I briefly talked about An Unfortunate Opal, which is a story about these fantasy characters. I don't think I ever talked about Tainted Creations.

Tainted Creations is a lighthearted, suspenseful coming-of-age story with a mythological twist. With Kairo’s humor and heart at the center, you readers follow him through the halls of school. Into the pages of ancient myths and toward a truth that could change everything—... And if he figures it out in time.

To the ones who read myths and never expect to become one, this is the story of a boy who loved myths—and the one myth that loved him back... Dangerously.

I hope this story becomes published in the future. I've been creating OCs for both of these stories and I'm focusing on Tainted Creations. The summary is below for it, An Unfortunate Opal doesn't have one yet though.

Kairo Perdido is the kind of kid who makes school fun just by being in the room. He’s cheerful, clever, and secretly a walking encyclopedia of myths and psychology. From Greek gods to shadowy folklore, Kairo loves diving into the strange corners of history and the human mind. It’s just a hobby... Until it isn’t. When Kairo stumbles across a bizarre myth online—a forgotten tale about a mechanical wind-up doll that once served a universe-destroying entity named Azrael—he’s fascinated. The myth speaks of a creation made to obey without question, until it apparently began to think for itself and disappeared into legend after causing massive destruction. It's creepy, but cool. Kairo thinks nothing of it—it's just another obscure story for the mental collection. But soon, weird things start happening in his everyday life. Small things at first: patterns repeating, dreams blending with waking life, strange reactions from people that feel just a little off. Then bigger things: symbols appearing where they shouldn’t, memories that don’t line up, people saying things they couldn’t possibly know. Kairo’s instincts kick in, his research gets deeper, and slowly... He begins to suspect that some of the myths he’s read aren’t just stories—that they’re instead reflections of something happening now. One myth in particular seems to be reappearing all around him, specifically of the wind-up doll. Kairo doesn’t know what it’s trying to say or who it’s really about. As the line between fiction and reality starts to blur, Kairo must use everything he knows—about the mind, about stories, and about his own heart—to uncover the truth behind the myth before it fully unfolds and before something far greater than he imagined takes hold of his world.

Hello Tumblr!

This project has been around for a while, but we've neglected to make a Tumblr thus far. I'd like to shill- ahem, introduce ourselves to you all!

Tainted Creations is a game being developed by Team Tarnished, made using the RPGMaker engine. A mysterious entity known as Creation seeks to remake the EXEverse in his own image- changing EXEs, Horrorbrews, and their ilk into his own will through a process called corruption.

Fortunately, there is a band of heroes willing to take on this challenge! The party members so far revealed are Kitobon, self-proclaimed EXE Ambassador with a heart of gold, and Plague "Motherfucker" Ratnic, the wildcard bounty hunter.

For now, have this reference of Creation himself, drawn by yours truly!

Expect more from us as time goes on- though keep in mind that this project is in active development. As always, there is still so much to show you...
