Ellie growled as she threw another dish into the sink, noticing they clearly haven’t been touched since the last time she did them. Furious, she tied her hair back into a bun (something familiar to the dancer) before storming into the living room, “Uh. It’s your turn to do dishes. Like, three days ago.”

She ran as fast as she could, trying to ignore the immense pain she was in, strands of hair stuck to the side of her face, sweat and blood coating it. It only to one glance back towards the other footsteps for her to trip over her own feet. She cried out as softly as she could before getting up. She quickly turned a corner,, running into an apartment complex. She struggled up a flight of concrete stairs, trying not to bleed everywhere before she knocked on the first door rapidly.

“Help. Please.” Her please were soft, but she only hoped the person inside could hear. Or was even home.

The music was bumpin’, so loud that you could hear the bass from just outside the doors. Inside bright neon lights were flashing as a group of four girls were onstage performing their selected cover songs for the night, equipped with powerful vocals and syncopated choreography. Katarina was one of those girls. Halfway into their performance, Katarina eyed a man coming towards the stage, and his eyes were obviously on her. Katarina grinned, as she stared deep into his eyes, not missing a single beat.

Kaisa, being the slightly paranoid person she was, was on edge. She thought that the man was following her. Her muscles were tense and she looked like she was on edge. 

“Yes. I was talking to you.” The short blonde stated.

She looked serious. Kaisa was standing her ground as she observed his body language.She knew that being a female, especially at night was dangerous and so she was making sure she was safe.

“Why are you following me, or why does it seem like you’re following me?” She asked cautiously.

Izzy  growled  deep  in  her  chest,    looking  around.  There were  close  to  two dozen  assassins  and  hell  hounds around   her. She  had let   them  track  her  here,  itching  for  a fight.  Now   she   had  one-  but  they had called  for back  up  sooner  than she expected.  She  sensed someone  else close by,  but she didn’t  have time  to  think.  She  launched  into  an  attack,  taking  on as  many  as  she  could  all  at  once, hoping  that  no civilians  would  happen  upon  them.

The rain poured down and where was Peyton? Instead of being inside, wrapped in a blanket drinking hot chocolate with her cat on her lap like any other night, she sat outside on the cold, wet concrete. Under the canopy of a tiny shop where she had ordered coffee. Well, not order it in so many words. More or less pointed and stuttered a small thanks.

Page after page Peyton flipped, noticing the shuffle of feet pasting her. Some would mutter about the young girl sitting in the rain, but it didn’t bother the brunette. Actually, she loved it. The only thing she hated was when droplets would fall from the canopy and smear the print on her library book. She would whimper slightly and wipe at it with the sleeve of her sweater and push up her glasses on the bridge of her nose before continuing to read.

He smiles when she says her name and nods weakly in releif.      “Yeah, hey, It’s me... I’m here. It’s okay.” He didn’t know what she’d eaten to make her go haywire, but here’s hoping he’s not had some of it too.       “You look like you fell down the hill are you okay?”
