Playing LoU on grounded. This was the luckiest, awesomest thing to happen to me during my time with this game. The bloater walked dead straight (pun intended!) to my bomb while still burning and Bill must have landed a rare headshot or something because I don't have to shoot a single bullet at it and it's down just like that. Pow! No need to mention the bomb and the molotov were a pain to hold on to through the clicker infested high school, but this made it all worth it. I hate how much I love this game on grounded. It's pure masochism to play it sometimes. A single spore missile from Mr Bloated, and you're dead. And believe me I died plenty.
Playing Lou on survivor.
A dear friend of mine said it took him half a day to get through this. He is a good, quick shot and plays hard and fast. Needless to say this part requires stealth, stealth, stealth and more stealth. Not his forte as much as mine ;)
Clickers everywhere. Runners everywhere. Three bloaters. On survivor you just don’t have the ammo to tackle this before you’re eaten alive. Unless you get lucky - which is too rare in my case ;)
This took me two tries, on the first run the bloaters got to me before we were out as I had some trouble climbing.
Playing LoU on survivor.
No ammo to speak of and facing one of the toughest parts of the game. Minimal help from creepy pedo-cannibal David, who needs saving all the time, putting me out to worst possible places in the room. Ran out of arrows and needed to use the rifle - and those bleeming clickers! Ellie can’t fight them with her knife and they run so fast when they spot you (no silencer in this gun! Hahaha). And to make matters worse - of course they need two shots (unless you’re a master marksman and can do a headshot in this speed without aim assist)!
