You know that smile? The one the comes from knowing you spent time on you & you truly did your best? That’s what’s going on here as I stepped out of my Mysore practice with Stan at All Things Ashtanga shala. Accountability & Tapas (self-discipline) we all need it whether you live / breathe a healthy life or not. Think about what feels good to do when you are finished! My feelings here as I leave my ashtanga practice- stoked I made it and gave it my all (knowing it was 40-50 min away); Perhaps that feeling you have when you wake in the morning after a solid sleep next to someone; that feeling of knowing you crossed the final thing off your to do list for today and you still have some day to spend doing what you want? What is one thing you are currently committed to and are using your self- discipline to hold yourself accountable. It’s crazy how much I think of everyone’s needs in my life except for my own.
