Here is Gate of nations in Persepolis, through which all visitors to the royal palaces would have had to pass, but it was to separate the people according to their social importance. The walls of this little palace were decorated with 2 giant bulls on the east and 2 giant lamassus (mythological creatures: bulls with the head of a bearded man) on the west warded off evil and protecting the path. . . . <دروازه ملل: دروازه ای به سمت تاریخ ملل> از پلکان تخت جمشید که بالا می روید اولین دروازه ورودی دروازه‌ ملل است که ‌در اصل کاخی بوده به مانند یک سالن انتطار که نمایندگان ملل مختلف ابتدا به آن وارد می شده سپس به بخش های مختلف تخت جمشید می رفتند. در دو جانب آن،‌ نقش دو گاو نر بسيار عظيم ("گاوان دروازه بان" معروف به لاماسو) دیده می شود که روي به جهت غرب يعني دشت داشته و بازديد كننده تازه وارد شده را مي نگرند. لاماسو: تنه گاو (نماد خیر و برکت)/ بال عقاب (نماد تیزبینی) سر انسان (نماد خرد و کنترل کننده دو صفت قبل)...
