when you fuck up taking your meds and they scrape or stretch your throat and you just have to suffer until that feeling goes away :(

Me: I’m responsible, I never get drunk at the parties.
Me: *takes sweet pill and gets high af*
There is nothing I want more than staying high forever.

Is it still considered swallowing dry if I pool an unbelievable amount of spit in my mouth?
The thing I don’t see people talking about is the whole “it gets easier” thing is true, but sometimes it’s not time that does it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s NEVER time, but sometimes you have to deal with a Worse Thing™️ and suddenly something that seems like a nightmare is fine now.
Okay this sounds like I’m talking about trauma, and technically that could be true, but this morning I was thinking about how I used to not be able to take pills, probably partially because of my emetophobia, and eventually I HAD TO so I could take my meds to function. And at first it freaked me out, but they were really tiny and eventually I was like “oh, okay, I can do this.” Flash forward like two years and I got sick and the urgent care place prescribed me an antibiotic (shoutout to the doctor, I’m pretty sure I was sorta delirious and I had to make her repeat everything like four times just to process it), and I forgot to ask for the liquid form. Antibiotic pills are fucking massive.
Anyway, it was a nightmare but now I can take my iron supplement in the morning without crying, and that’s a win in my book
