I think that's up to personal preferences, which are different with people.

Personally, I like people with glasses. I dunno about cooler, I just like how they look. I'm a simple accessories girl. -when I make characters in games like sims and skating games they always have accessories like glasses or amulets or wristbands or whatever-

Personally though I wear glasses because I'd be running into walls without them . w. That's probably the simplest reason to ever wear glasses. Cause you need 'em.
