Life’s a beach for Sport Relief Supporters
Sainsbury’s Boscombe and Talbot Heath went sporty in the sun by organizing a special Sport Relief challenge at Boscombe Pier. The morning event on Friday 21st January saw over 100 school children from across Bournemouth hopping skipping and jumping to raise funds. So far, a massive (insert figure) has been raised.
Sainsbury’s Retail Director Helen Buck attended the event, along with Regional Operations Manager Darren Noonan.
A host of popular community faces joined in the fun and games, including AFC Bournemouth club legend Steve Fletcher, club mascot Cherry Bear and members of The Community Sports Trust.
Sainsbury’s Boscombe Store Manager Damian Fancy said: “Our colleagues at Boscombe and Talbot Heath were delighted to be heading the regions fundraising for Sport Relief. We would like to thank Kings Park School, St Marks C E School, AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust and especially Steve Fletcher for their commitment and dedication to this event for Sport Relief.”
