No, I’m asking you to critique it. All those bozos have no clue how to give constructive criticism. It’s all “It’s beautiful, Young Mistress”, “I wouldn’t change anything Young Mistress”. Seriously, it pisses me off! So, critique it!

It is easy to predict the movements of the stock market if you have the aptitude, and I have the aptitude. I would be able to do what you do and do it better. For someone who is considered above other Ultimates, you are...unimpressive.

Talent Development: Kyoji/Koichi

You know I’ve always wondered something about you, Kizakura-san.

Just one thing? I like to think I’m quite alluring, not to brag or anything. What’s on your mind, kid?

Well, I learned you were once called the Ultimate Talent Scout, which explains why you ended up with the job you got with Hope’s Peak. What I don’t know if how someone like you manages to find certain people for class recruitments.

Take my class for example. I understand how you found out about myself, Miaya, and Hayase-san and anybody who had talents that would give them a certain degree of fame in the public eye. But...people like Storm? And in other classes. People such as Ludenberg-san, or Maro-san? How on earth do you manage it?

Oh, that? It’s pretty simple, especially with the funding I get...got from Hope’s Peak to look for new talent.

Not as bad as you think. There used to be a guy, the Ultimate Broker. He could find out whatever you wanted, get anything you needed, as long as you paid enough. So, I’d use the funds to locate people that were like urban legends. Such as teen gambling geniuses, or someone that can steal anybody’s identity.

I see. Someone like that attended Hope’s Peak.

Of course, you also have your legacy families.

Legacy families?

Families that were part of the first 10 Hope’s Peak classes and have successfully had produced a child that also possess a talent.

For example, the Togami family have had plenty of Ultimates from their bloodline. Obviously Byakuya Togami was the most recent addition. But you also have the Kamii’s, the Yokozawa’s, the Kurosaki’s, the Saionji’s, the list goes on.

...families of Ultimates...I’ve never found anything that could suggest a “talent gene” or something along those lines.

It ain’t. The Asano’s are a legacy family, but when Mami Asano didn’t seem to show any promise of talent...

I can’t really say for sure that those were the reasons they had for doing what they did, but I wanted that kid out of there, so I sent the letter to get her to Hope’s Peak. Figured it was the best thing I could do to help her.

Because the Asano’s were so rich that even if you tried to convict them, they would find a way out, I’m assuming?

Talent Development: Hina/Sakura

No, no. The tea’s fine. I’ve just been thinking how lucky you are.

I’ve thought it a few times, but I’d totally love to have a body like yours. You’re so strong, I can’t imagine how fast I might be able to go if I had muscles like yours when I go swimming.

Is that so? I’m surprised to hear that. I figured you had the ideal body for swimming.

You really think that? Sometimes I’m worried that maybe my arms are strong enough. My legs have always been stronger.

If that’s the case then I could help you with working on your arms. I can spot you on the weights sometime.

Totally! If I had arms like yours, I’d be unstoppable! And with you spotting me, I wouldn’t have to worry about dropping the weights on myself!

Then we’ll make plans to work out together sometime during the week. Though I worry about my status as the Ultimate Fighter if you were to have muscles that looked like mine.

Though really, don’t forget that certain body types will work against you depending on the sport. I think your development is perfect for your sport, but if you want your arms to match your legs then there’s nothing wrong with that. I’ll support you as a friend and make that happen.

Although, aren’t a lot of Ultimates weird? Sometimes I think it’s harder to find someone down to earth.

Honestly, I feel like I fade into the background around the people who are flashy or have big personalities.

To be fair, I think I stand out because I’m not yelling all the time like Nekomaru or trying to fight the air like Akane.

Yeah, I get that feeling! Since there are so many Ultimates here, I feel like I have my lack of a title working in my favour to stand out among everyone!

Of course. Tenko’s sad that some girls would end up being evil...but it’s not really a surprise for those degenerates.

There’s a few guys in my class that are at least reliable. Hajime, specifically. Gundam’s a good guy under all that bravado, though...the others certainly have their problems.

Tenko doesn’t like Hanamura-san in particular.

-Context: Taking place while 79-C still stayed in the mansion-

Rina: I-it’s nothing special. I know I can’t fight, so I need to find other ways of pulling my weight...I’m worried Watanabe-san might yell at me if I don’t...

Sly: After a month, how do you feel about this class? There are some characters, honestly a lot of them give me headaches. You seem easier to talk to, but I’m surprised you so readily speak to me.

Rina: What do you mean?

Sly: You do know I’m the Ultimate Assassin, right? I’m hardly the type someone like you would want to associate with.

Rina: *She frowns and looks at the ground*

Sly: *Sighs* I said something unnecessary then.

Rina: N-no, I just had to think! W...well, I figure if you weren’t a good person, you would have abandoned us by now. A month is a long time to stay around people you don’t care about...s-so maybe that’s why?

Sly: Joking. Ha. You should just talk to them. Watanbe is fine, just strict. Hokama’s odd, but she seems a little fixated on taking care of Asano so she’s not a bad person.

Sly: Those three are the headaches I was talking about.
