Slowly the wall that blocks pharma from social media is starting to come down. Last week some pioneers at Astra Zeneca held a Twitter chat and the folks at Sanofi are busy using social media in support of diabetes treatments. If you think it’s easy for pharma to do anything via social media than you are a bit naive. My guess is that behind the scenes were numerous meetings with legal and regulatory plus a whole bunch of Power Point decks but pharma needs more people like this because they are making a difference as Linchpins.
