Bob Verhoeven (@Boverr, Palindroom) caught our attention after we saw him warming up the crowd at the SoHaSo label night at De Helling, Utrecht. It isn't often that an unknown artist impresses us as much as Bob did, but he managed to do it. Why? His choice of tracks outside genre borders and the guts to play whatever he feels like playing at that time. A sense of sheer nonchalance, effortlessness and absolutely no intention for easy crowd pleasing, but still very very appealing and always unique. This is the attitude and passion we love o so dearly, an attitude that has always been the reason why we started the talent mix series in the first place.
This mainly vinyl mix has that same feeling. An ambientic start, african rhythms that follow, and then straight into beautiful melodic techno. Very enjoyable to listen to, very enjoyable to dance to. We present you our newest talent mix chapter by Bob Verhoeven.
