If he's hiding something from her, she sure as hell can't tell. Faith's never been quick on the uptake. If superheroes went to a special high school, she'd be voted 'most likely to be tricked by the bad guy and end up in jail' --- and they'd be right. Thank god she can fight and she looks good doing it or she'd have no way to navigate this stupid world.

"Skin staples," she corrects as she gets to her feet, heading back for her the gym bag she's using as a make-shift suitcase, "They're like sutures? I mean, you get your ass kicked a lot, you gotta know what sutures are." of course, she fails to mention that these might be skin staples but that doesn't make them not fucking staples. She finds a grey wash cloth and unbundled a small, white plastic machine with a blue 'trigger'. Checks to ensure it's loaded, for lack of a better term, "The hell do I have to do to get you to relax? Take my jugs out?"
