The first official art of my new Au, WEBTALE, now with its own tags, [Webtale] and [TalesfromtheWeb] (its unofficial name)

[Basic Au concept: Undertale but everyone is based on the 90s // early 2000s]

Ok so I know this is gonna be bit of information, but I'm just kinda realmy excited, the kind that makes you wanna puke rainbows and go outside-

so getting back on topic, I'll say that the story will be written (I have neither the time nor the energy NOR the artistic tablet for comics//animation) on A03 (but I will crosspost) and that the story will start as a normal UT timeline for like- uhhhh I'd say first ten chapters, depends on how long I'll make 'em

Oh yeah- the fic's name is Tales From The Web (though you already knew that) and the author is EmployeeWithAKnife (which is me)

What would be traits in any other universe (by this I mean the color) is factors here, the collective soul is a means to glean into the heart of the have thus even though some souls may look the same

Which means: multiple people having the intergrity factor may result in either loyalty, endurance or honesty.

This is because the TRAITs are a combinaion of different FACTORs (the original 7 SOULs -though the Red one = the Player Soul, is swapped for gold = Determination- and their negative counterparts -w DT becoming Doubt), so the color at the end may appear even ever so slightly altered.

This also means having PURE SOULs is effectively impossible, since no human is ever only gonna be just and not integre (if that's even how you spell it).

... or so I thought. Turns out the 7 mages we PURE SOULs, and that is how they learned to use magic so well.

[the rest of humanity could learn magic if they hung around monsters a lot, but the powers would NOT be passed down to their children. Now if a human were to have a child with a monster... huh, maybe that's why the mages looked that way. Perhaps... perhaps PURE SOULs are merely a result of Monster-human crossbreeding. I will have to look into this phenomena more closely.]

There's also souls with multiple traits at once (usually DUAL, TRIPLE, or hell, even QUADRUPLE traits!!!)

Then there's enhancers. (Though I am not sure if these are all there is to it. After all, enhacements are someone's motivation to keep on going) They can commonly also be Factors. They are also rarely - if not ever - traits. They are Detachment, Emptiness (more commonly known as Soullesness), Determination, Hate, love and LOVE.

The first two are actually a lack of enhancers (the second one is the lack of a soul in it's entirety, usually caused by trying to raise oneself or others from the dead, but failing to do so correctly), which can cause depressive states
