I want my own space! :(
“If we weren’t dating, I could see you with a Police Officer.”
What does that even mean? “It means that if we break up that I would see you dating a cop.” Why would someone even bring that up? I’m already so heavily invested into you, we are going on two years for crying out loud, and this is my very first real relationship. Why would this cross any of our minds? Do you mean to say that we are just dating until the next person can sweep us off of our feet? For that I’d rather remain single!
Maybe I’m over thinking it a little bit, but gosh that sure is a strange way to start a conversation with a significant other.
