dwarf with no magic. warden with no griffon. faction backstory is eternal third wheel. if i was talisa thorne i would have for real already started killing people.
“you can’t blame yourself for everything,” says Local Woman Who Blames Herself For Everything, Is About To Be Destroyed By It, and Has No Sense Of Irony. “it’ll destroy you!”
very different player experience from sol to talisa because, well... if anyone is mean to sol it will truly not occur to them to care, so i the player don’t have to care on their behalf. like, please, they’ve had worse from viago. if you meant it good-naturedly or even neutrally they will probably like you more! deeply embarrassingly, the first time they started looking at lucanis differently, it was when emmrich asked him about the crows and sol was like ‘i’m a crow too!’ and lucanis immediately fired off that stupid ‘has anyone told viago that?’ response. considering how important and complicated their relationship with viago is, it was really quite cutting coming out of nowhere, and sol was delighted. they were like wait is he fun?? (shortly after that he got a well-timed very romantic revive during combat and for me as a player it was like watching my character take a wrong step and fall down the stairs in slow motion. excruciating. mesmerising. true love, really.) sol does not mind a little bit of sharpness, is my point
whereas if someone’s mean to talisa, even accidentally, i immediately think they should straight up die
its fun playing a character who cares about money. just spent like all my cash on a bow for talisa and i know she was umming and ahhing over it at the marketplace for like twenty minutes and had to get her companions’ opinions and is looking after it sooo carefully
