It’s not that Nuvi didn’t expect to see people she recognized during her stay in Haven. What she didn’t expect was to vaguely recognize someone from their trip to Falon’Din’s Hollow. The trip that had revealed that Laurelin was in danger, and that her research was more than necessary. The rescue mission had changed a great deal, and only a handful of people were even privy to the information of what had happened inside. And the stranger before her was one of them. Immediately curious as to why the stranger was present, Nuvi closed the book in her hands and wandered closer to the woman. 

“Hello there,” Nuvi greets with a soft smile as she considers the other. “I believe we have met before? In a rather similar situation, in fact.”

Shenuvun had expected to see Talisa sooner rather than later. Their conversation had been far too brief, but even if she did not the keenest eye when it came to interpersonal relations and emotions, she could put two and two together. Her rancor towards her in defense of Fyren, as well as the way they were a pair during their excursion into the Eluvian? She had guessed that if Fyren had chosen to stay and fight for Avalon, Talisa would likely not be too far. 

She had expected this outcome, but she doesn’t think she is necessarily all that pleased about it. Their last conversation was rather horrid, and she doesn’t trust the other’s judgement to remain steady if things turn for the worst and they have to fight side by side. Shenuvun’s inexperience had caused her to harm her companions with friendly fire, but for all she knows, Talisa could harm her purposefully to defend Fyren’s honor, despite Fyren’s own feelings in the matter. 

That is the sort of scenario she wants to avoid, considering what is at stake. 

“I propose a truce, for as long as we are to fight against the Dark’s influence in Avalon,” she offers, breaking the silence once she had found the dragon.
