Question. I guy I haven't talked to since February wants to meet up and reconnect. I was cool with that I asked when and where, he says around 7 at his apartment....I do not feel comfortable with that. Is it cool to tell him I'd rather do something outside of his place? I don't think he's a bad guy but....
Oh absolutely! Your safety comes first, always! Being comfortable is the other priority. That’s something to work your way into, especially since you haven’t talked to him in 5 months. And if he doesn’t want to go with that then… I would do the same thing. And as you continue your reconnection and you still see he’s a good/decent guy, you’ll know when you will feel comfortable to go to his place.
