I spent a great amount of time sitting/standing on this peak together with my dog, Maecy. Dennis and our friend, Qit opted to stay asleep at the campsite. “Ang lamig kasi talaga!” It took a lot of good disposition to rise and ascend to the peak/summit. The campsite is just beneath the mountain top and it’s just a few minutes to ascend to it through a steep trail. The warmth of the early morning sun blended so well with the frequent, moderate whisper of the wind. One can imagine the extreme coldness as these days have been really cold even on plains and lowlands. Yet, it was still worthwhile to stay atop. Every second was a savoring moment of this beauty; this had been my much awaited communing with the nature (especially that of the Cordilleras). The positive vibes from this peak and surrounding mountains were something a good feed and healing to my soul. I cut the moment coz it’s time to leave and i didn’t want to get a trace of wind burn 😁 (sooo hard to leave). Thank you, Lord for this opportunity. 🙏🏼 #communewithnature #talkaboutpassion #hikingph #ampucao #mountulap #benguet #cordillera (at Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet) https://www.instagram.com/p/BtkDSjphB0hA6hQ0W9oVNK7iSDat-C9gwhJw900/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=6szmdy6ersfn
