Wings of fire OC day #3

Owl

Owl is a pure icewing from a minor noble family. She lived with her parents in a small ice spire close to the palace for the first five years of her life, until the war started. Her and her parents all signed up willingly, thinking it would be an honor to fight for their tribe. For the first year of them being deployed they were fine, of course not perfect since they would have to wake up to fight more often then not, but fine. That was until on the battlefield Owl got separated from her parents. She assumed they would be fine, they were all seasoned warriors at that point, so she didn't go looking for them until after the battle, but after the battle she couldn't find them. It took her asking just about everyone in the icewing encampment to learn from a dragon her parents had fought with that they died. This broke Owl and since she was already injured, her face and neck heavily burned from an acid spraying hivewing, the queen let her return home out of pity. The first year of Owl returning home she wore a veil over her face, under the belief that her beauty was spoiled by the giant scar on her face. It took her two years to stop wearing the veil completely and accept the new look to her face and that was when her grandmother decided she was ready to go to school.

At JMA, Owl roomed with Taipan the sanding representative of the steel winglet and Finch, the skywing representative. Owl and Taipan almost instantly connected and a few months later began dating. Their relationship isn't very healthy, though. Owl is extremely insecure due to her losses early in her life and Taipan isn't sure how to set boundaries, causing Owl to become extremely codependent and Taipan feeling responsible for her girlfriend's emotional state.

Jokes aside, no, Luciel is my OC, even if I had a male persona, his name wouldn't be Luciel.

I was worried that people would confuse Luciel (my OC) with SH!Luciel (my hero version in @screwzara 's AU), but Scry chose the name, mainly because it refers to an angel of light, the power she gave him.

About my OC, his name wasn't Luciel at first, but Lucifer.

I wanted to change it to be more "original", even though it has nothing to do with Lucifer. (I also changed it because of the weight of the word Lucifer itself; in stories we end up saying it, but some people might feel uncomfortable, so I changed it to Luciel.)

No! Luciel is not me (Lucy) and I am not Luciel!

Regarding a male persona, I would consider doing it... but based on my years of experience drawing proud mens, I believe it would only inflate my ego for no reason.

I prefer to remain a woman, thank you. I'm not going to worship my male version.

Sage the Druid born from the earth Part-time combatant, incapable of Storm path for some reason Herbalist, grows specialty ingredients for Crys & Alchemists immune to many poisons, however medicine also has less of an effect on him loves vine plants especially! irresistible urge to eat dandelions

Crystal the Alchemist (pronounced Kris) mom wanted a girl after having 3 boys very distant with family, dad enables mom, brothers werent around a lot growing up (forcefully kept at a distance by mom), mom is probably not all there mentally Part-time combatant, researching better formulas for Transforming Tonics has permanent damage after self-testing so many Transforming Tonics works closely with Sage, who gets him really into tea

Cole the Desperado non-civilian, solo combatant (tends to steal his equipment) smoll, lil guy, tiny! born with crooked tail, broken further - very weak fur does not grow on lower arms & legs, causes him to get very cold hazy memories, anxious and fearful of most others escape artist

twst oc yap of the day: roommates 🧵

i like to think Idia and Pande shared rooms before Idia became dorm leader. They shared 1st year with npc + Ortho since he was still in Idia's room, and in 2nd year it was both of them. Y'all probably can tell Pande's room is not the most organized room ever and since Idia's room is also a mess, im afraid to think how their room used to look 🕊️⚰️💀☠️ poor Ortho probably has seen so many cursed anime merch and messed rooms in these years

Peine shares room with npc. He made a bad impression on his entrance ceremony day so the other 1st years were afraid of him and got really sad once they realized who their roommate was 😭 Now in his 2nd year, his roommate accepted that he's not that bad and wont punch him out of the blue, but the other two were glad they were no longer roommates with ignihyde's hot headed who'd definitely kick someone. Peine and current roommate are not friends and talk more about school things and good day/nigh, roommate can't wait for next year so he'll be free 💔

Gisell's roommate has a name, face and personality ☝️ she's Eden, my friend ( @arittruz )'s oc. she also likes gardening so i believe their room is like a second garden for pome. Gisell is considered really pretty by the people at nrc so I also like to believe that during his 1st year, the other npc roommates used to be always telling him that no one's pretty as Gisell and got pretty sad they wouldn't be having spa slumber party anymore

i believe Tristan's roommate are npc too and their relationship is just roommates 😭 but it would be pretty funny if he shared rooms with octatrio imagine you see your boss not only at work but at ur house too

Rosen once again is doomed by me not knowing enough about RSA dorm situation so if their rooms are shared, he'd share it with npc and try to make them sweet and desserts so they could be friends

Thinking about yumeships, selfships and yumejoshi (dream girl, OC x canon)

I'll say this, I don't do a lot of ships at all yet I trying to figure out what yumeships I like then I'll add it here (I hope no one is disgusted or complaining about it; I would definitely be worried if this happens).

I'm a sick clown so I'm obviously easily inspired but unable to do anything, the pain and suffering

So I am going to yap about my oc universe version of werewolves! This is the one with Lou and Kimmy (the ogs know, bc I haven't posted them in a while sob)

• Werewolves transform every night! When do they sleep you ask? That. Is not my problem. Specifically Lou does sleep a lot in the day, werewolves have a lot of energy. Though the full moon usually results in unpredictable behaviors and animalistic actions, they can get pretty violent sometimes. But not always, werewolves with better control can typically calm down more than newer werewolves.

• they also believe in moon magic ? It's complicated, it really depends on the werewolves pack what they think about it. it's more like. That's where their werewolf-ness comes from basically, sometimes werewolves are noted as children of the moon in older texts.

• on that note, they also typically group in small packs and are unlikely to worry about other packs, sometimes packs will work together. But they don't tend to live close to other packs. Territory thing. Depending on the pack they might be aggressive to other werewolves based on what they form their pack around, Lou's pack, are quite social and friendly though.

• "Alpha's" are not a thing. But packs do have leaders, that you could relate to that. they are typically older werewolves who 'parent' their pack, if you were to join a pack you basically get a new mom/dad, most werewolves don't talk to their old family so this is usually appreciated.

• Lou's pack is all women (as of now. I don't plan on adding any more characters to her pack though. So it should stay that way) but packs do not usually separate by gender.

• Werewolves packs usually are created with an ideal, if it's a hobby, practice, or circumstance, you are usually found by a pack — or if you're looking for one find one— you feel connected to and that's when you join it.

• Werewolves aren't just wolves, they can resemble pretty much any canine. Usually wild canines, but sometimes I base them off of domesticated dogs too.

• Lycanthropy can be spread through bites/scratches on full moons, which has stuff to do with the moon magic I mentioned earlier, I won't get into it, that's for another time lol, it takes typically until the next full moon for symptoms to fully form and for you to transform and once you transform fully, there isn't any known cure.
