i will be actually!!!! add the talking skulls to my rolodex list of creatures!!!! (inspired by the bones in the first place: ) the talking skulls will be animal bones, just so they can be around forests and deserts where people wont,…freak out at them.,…. 

theyre kind-natured entities who take the form of animal bones lying around a (mostly) secluded place, meant to help and aid witches with whatever they need!!! mostly though, they act as gatekeepers to the realm of the undertakers, demon/oni like beings who keep tabs on the living and escort the souls of the dead. theyre also known to be found at the entranceway to doorway portals

Edit: and the bones by the ocean panels in the comic are from the big taffy fight, fyi
