Californians, please welcome Tallulah Newstead, a Twenty-One (21) year old that is a Native straight outta North Carolina. Who is a resident in the district of West Hollywood, California. She is an Barista at Brewed Awakenings Cafe. People say she could pass as the doppelganger of Alycica Debnam-Carey, but she doesn’t see it at all. Unfortunately, this role is closed.
T R A I T S; Tallulah is known to be Naive and Adventurous, but is also known to be Secretive and Passionate.
F U N F A C T S; 1. She is an aspiring actress mostly because that seemed to be the next logical step after moving to Los Angeles. In truth, though, she had no idea what she wants to do with her life and is still looking to be inspired. For now, she is content working at the Cafe.
2. She is Bisexual, but she is still slowly coming to terms with it herself. She came from a small, conservative town, and as the daughter of the pastor, sexuality was never really discussed. When it was brought up, in regards to the media, her father always made sure that Lou knew it was a sin. This made coming to terms with her own sexuality a very difficult process, and it was one of the reasons she left her hometown to live in LA.
3. Lou feels more alive then she ever been now that she lives in LA. She spends her days and nights doing everything she couldn't do in the tiny town she was born. Some of her favorite things to do include: going exploring, going on hikes, spending the night in bars and clubs, meeting new people, and trying every restaurant she possibly can. She always felt trapped in Blackburn, now she is spreading her wings and letting go.
A N D T H E S T O R Y G O E S; Lou was finally free and living the California lifestyle she had always dreamed of, but still not a day goes by that she isn't being eaten away by guilt. She tried to justify her reasons to herself, but it never changed anything. When Tallulah left Blackburn, North Carolina, the town she had been born and raised, she had done so in the middle of the night. Lou had packed up a small suitcase of clothes, grabbed the cash she had been saving up since her 16th birthday, and left the house through her bedroom window. She couldn't bare to face her parents and tell them the truth. She couldn't risk having them keep her there for any longer. She couldn't watch the tears well in her mother's eyes, or the red-hot anger taking over her father's features. So, Lou took the cowards way out and she left without so much as a note for her parents. It has been months now since she left her hometown, and more than once she had thought about phoning home to tell her parents she was okay, but she never could bring herself to do so. Instead, she lives with the guilt, and swallows it down each night with a shot of whiskey.
