How to Host a Tamalada
How to Host a Tamalada with Que Bueno Suerte.
I’ve always been intrigued by the idea of tamaladas, the Mexican tradition of gathering together to make tamales. Usually, it’s a family event but friends gather too, working together, sharing conversation, passing along tips, teaching new generations the methods and recipes… It’s a wonderful idea. Not being of Mexican descent myself, though, a tamalada was something I could only hope to be…

Lo mejor del mes de Febrero no es el día 14, ni si quiera mi cumpleaños, lo mejor es la Tamalada y nadie me puede decir lo contrario
#Repost @muybuenocooking (@get_repost) ・・・ I have always been drawn to the wisdom and love in hands. Ever since I was a little girl I used to love staring at my grandmas hands — they looked so strong and yet so gentle to me. We would snuggle and I would hold her hand and push her veins down and watch them pop back up. My mom is in town and helping me so much for our upcoming tamalda. I couldn’t have done all this without her. I watch this video and all I see is so much love and strength in my Mother’s hands. Her hands never rest — they engage in selfless service, cooking, crafting, and assuring the well-being of our family. I am truly blessed to have such an amazing mother 🙏 Tomorrow is our big tamalada and I hope you can tune in LIVE on the Muy Bueno Cookbook Facebook page. You’ll get to meet my amazing mama and learn all about my @nokidhungry Friendsgiving Tamalada. Join us Sunday at 12PM MST. . . 📹 @purecinemaco #tamales #tamalada #friendsgiving (at Bridgeport, Connecticut)
