Some skaters supporting the Coaches

Lana Gehring and Jessica Smith have come out in support of their coaches, with a statement saying they have "never seen any abuse take place - physical, sexual, verbal or emotional.." You can read their statement here.

While the letter itself is only from Lana and Jessica, it was undersigned in "support of"  the statement by 7 other skaters.

World Cup 5, Moscow, Russia Wrap-Up – USA Ladies

United States of America – Ladies

1500 m (1)

- Jessica Smith and Emily Scott finished 4th and 5th respectively in the A Final.

- Tamara Frederick finished 18th overall, and made it into the semifinals, but no further.

1000 m

- Lana Gehring finished 4th in the A Final after being penalized for impeding.

- Aly Dudek finished 13th overall after finishing fourth in the C Final.

- Kimberly Derrick finished 24th overall, and did not make it into the Quarterfinals.

500 m

- Aly Dudek finished 6th overall, and took second in the B Final.

- Jessica Smith finished 11th overall and placed third in the C Final

- Tamara Frederick finished 14th overall and did not advance from the Quarterfinals.

1500 m (2)

- Lana Gehring finished 3rd in the A Final, bringing home a Bronze medal!-

- Emily Scott finished 8th overall and took 2nd in the B Final.

- Kimberly Derrick finished 21st overall, and did not advance to the Semifinals.

3000 m Relay

- The US Ladies took 2nd and are bringing home a Silver medal!!
