Halloween lives on after the day has passed. If you’re like me you comb the stores during “Sale-o-ween” buying up candy and cool decorations. I stopped in a Halloween City pop-up store looking through some Nightmare Before Christmas stuff, lots of costumes and plenty of decorations. I wasn’t really seeing anything, but then I spotted these Zombie-looking dolls hanging at eye-level. They looked more like Actual fashion dolls than decorations. I took a closer look and noticed they had a function - a sticker on the chest said “PRESS.” Naturally I did and was pleasantly surprised by the glowing eye sockets and creepy growls of “Feed me!” I bought the two versions that were there - Tammy Terror and Bloody Mary. The cashiers got a huge kick out of these. I searched for info about these and didn’t find much, but a review by strangesdollcollection supplied more and led me to the company website. These are made by Tekky. It looks like Party City will be carrying them too. Along with the dolls I bought there is also a Zombie Bride. There is a photo of Bloody Mary with brown hair but not sure if that was changed to blonde. These are such a bizarre find but they are so very cool! Like the review I read, I could tell this is a reused body mold, but to use this for a cool Halloween decoration made it stand out to me. The bodies do feel a little frail, but it seems like they’ll hold together fine. The head came off of one but popped back on. I had bought Living Dead Dolls some years ago but sold them off. They were cool but too baby-doll-looking. These Zombie Dolls were more up my alley. I hope they make more of these!
