Muder Her For Christmas! MURDER HER FOR CHRISTMAS!
Headcanon: After Carmilla becomes human, Laura misses Carm's cat form, so she adopts a black cat. She names it.... Meowmilla. Endless bickering ensues.
Thank You for Carmilla
Dear @carmillaseries , @natvanlis , @kbearluna , @hotladypants, and Elise and Sharon and Aaron and Matt and Nicole and Enrico and Sophia and so, so many others who made Carmilla happen:
You’ve done something I thought, in the beginning, was completely impossible. You made the humble webseries, the humble vlog format, become one of the best pieces of storytelling I’ve ever seen. You’ve made us fall in love, not just with Natasha and Elise and Sharon and Kaitlyn, but with love itself. With queer-positive stories. With a show driven by women. There are so many reasons Carmilla “should have” failed, and absolutely succeeded beyond our wildest imaginations.
I can’t help but feel like I’ve just watched a cultural phenomenon, a turning point in the way queer stories are told, in the obvious and apparent value that they have. I can’t help the feeling that this will ripple, not just into web series, but into TV and even films. I think one day we’ll be able to look back and say, yes, we watched the world turn, toward women, toward queer stories. We watched Carmilla.
Your hard work, your dedication, the obvious amount of love that each and every one of you seem to have put in, is simply mind-blowing. Thank you. Thank you for this gift you’ve given us. I can’t speak highly enough of this show, and I can’t wait for the movie.
Love will have its sacrifices... the biggest one being that this show had to end. Thank you. We love you all.
